Extend your running season on the fast and flat track at the Hockenheimring!
Celebrate your end of the 2023 running season at the Hockenheimring! On November 25th you have the opportunity to run the half marathon or marathon distance on the original Formula 1 track. Extend your season and use your year’s training and fitness to run a new best time on the fast and officially measured course!

 

Unique race course
In 4 laps (half marathon) or 9 laps (marathon) plus feed from the respective starting point you run on the officially measured, flat and fast course and cross the legendary finish line, where usually the greats of motor sports celebrate their successes. The course is guaranteed to be clean and free of snow and mud.

 

Maximum comfort
The infrastructure at the Hockenheimring offers you a convenient procedure for your race: The site is located directly next to the A6 motorway and is located in Baden-Württemberg, a short distance from numerous cities such as Frankfurt am Main, Heidelberg or Stuttgart. Please view the map here. You get free parking directly on the site, valuables can be stored in the immediate vicinity of the parking lot, sound system throughout the site so that you don’t miss any information and short walking distances from the parking lot to the start and finish area.

Special atmosphere
Adrenaline and nostalgia at the same time – on the original Formula 1 racetrack you will experience a very special atmosphere. You run where the greats of motorsport have brought the asphalt to a boil, you have the chance of a photo on the legendary winner’s podium and you can recharge your batteries in the pit lane. Spectators and fans also have the opportunity to cheer for you several times during your race directly on the track. Sound reinforcement along almost the entire route gives you an additional boost of motivation. Look forward to a very special end of the season!

Course description

The half marathon leads in 4 laps, the marathon in 9 laps along the nostalgic Grand Prix track of the Hockenheimring plus access from the start. You will pass all the highlights of the legendary race track like the Bernie Ecclestone curve, the hairpin bend and the south curve. The finish is on the original Formula 1 finish line!

The track is not only record-breaking in motorsport, because the continuously flat course with its long straights is fast and offers ideal conditions for new PBs.

The half marathon start is on the Parabolika.
The marathon start is at the East Curve entrance.

Bib number and start times

You will receive a personal bib number for participation in the race. The bib number will also show you when your personal start time window will be. You can pick up your personal bib number on race day onsite. The opening times for bib number pick up will be announced soon. Please bring your bib number email confirmation and a valid photo ID to thebib number pick up.

The bib number serves as authorization to enter the area as well as the time measurement by the transponder integrated in the start number. Without a bib number there will be no admission to the area and no time measurement during the race! Always wear your bib number visibly on your chest during the race. The bib number must not be changed or bent. Please do not cover the bib number (with a jacket or similar) as otherwise the timekeeping cannot be guaranteed.

The time limit for the half marathon for each participant is 03:00:00 hours.
